I was honoured to be asked by the phenomenal Issie Barret to share my opinions. I was invited to talk about the All Women Drummer's day I'm setting up for March. This is in response to the London Drum Show being 100% men again this year. This does not encourage all the many young female drummers out there. We have to do something, so that they can feel included.
It was really fascinating to listen to so many of my fellow 'female' Jazz musicians.
So much to take on and think about for the future.
This was a very positive day.
